Oh My...

where has the time gone? I have not blogged since Easter:) We have been busy around here. Clean-up is underway and we are still very fortunate to have missed the major destruction that happened on Good Friday. Our street is mostly cleaned up with some of the houses still having blue tarps on their roofs. Kaylee started to get nervous about bed times and noises but even that seems to be getting better. I think it is because a lot of the signs of that night are gone and so she is not thinking about it as much.

Our house is in the final stages of being SOLD!!! Where are we going from here? We do not know:( We have decided to move into a short term leasing apartment for now so we can keep looking for a place. It just so happens to be the same apartment complex Brian and I have both lived at at one time while we were single. So now we are moving our famiy of four into a two bedroom, one bath apartment. We will see how this goes, it could make for some good blogging.

Update: Apartment complex called today and a 2 bed/2bath opened up with washer/dryer hookups!!! No laundry mat for me:)

Carson turned four months old last month and we started feeding him rice cereal. This always makes for some good pictures

He is doing very well and has since started eating some veggies too. In a few weeks, we will start fruits.

With the weather getting nice, it also means hikes!!! Kaylee loves to go for hikes and she actually does really well on it. This time we did a different trail. It was 3 miles long and she hiked over a mile of it, even with it being rough terrain and some good hills for a 2 1/2 year old. Carson loved it too. He even got a good nap with the fresh air.

Brian also had lasik surgery. He is so happy he did. I got to watch the surgery and would never be able to do that. Hope I am not scaring anyone away from it:)

By the way, Carson is now 5 months old. He is laughing all the time. He has yet to officially role over which cracks me up. He likes tummy time but just lays there and plays. Then if I have him on his back, he will roll most of the way over but never get officially onto his tummy. He has found his voice lately too. He loves to squeel and be heard. I guess with his sister who has recently gotten louder, he feels he needs to be heard too. So far, it is pretty cute.

So now we are packing and moving next weeekend. Fun stuff!!!
