Cruise help?

Brian and I are looking at taking a cruise in the spring for our anniversary. I need some help though.

Has anyone taken a cruise? Where, how long, any advice that you can give of things you would do or not do again would be greatly appreciated.

I am going on my first cruise in early October. It is a Royal Caribbean cruise to the Bahamas. I would be glad to answer questions etc after that but I also have no idea what to expect so I will be watching for comments on this one!
