If you know me at all, you know that I am not being serious. We tore up the old floor and plywood, only to find this floor. Gross, it is yellow in most areas, but white in some. Thi is the originla floor to the house!!!
Our plan is hopefully, by or during, this weekend we will paint the walls, get the new base cabinets in, and the new sink in!!! Then we will have time to tile the floor before our appliances get here.
Atleast one of us is having fun with all of this craziness!!! She has found a new home. I just hope she doesn't think it is going to stay after this weekend.

This happened at our old house...we tore up the floor to discover really hideous linoleum. Come to think of it, that happened at this house, too, only it was a layer of ceramic tile under the tile the previous owners had laid in the bathroom. Geniuses...
that's exactly what we found with my kitchen floor when we re-did my kitchen... : )
